I'm Nick Kelly, one of many Nick Kellys out there in the world wild web, but I'm the only ME that you'll ever know, and most folx are thankful for that. I'm a musician, a writer, an artist, a motorcycle rider, a hockey fanatic, a horror movie lover, a father, a husband, a son, and an overall lunatic. What Fuels Your Fire?

As I sit down to go into editing mode again, I found myself comparing my different writing experiences. For instance, when I'm writing Catwalk, doing drafts or free form stuff, I find the heavier the music, the better (unless it's a sex scene or something meant to be dismal but not upbeat). This is night and day from when I'm writing for work or school, where I find instrumental music helpful but vocals distracting.

So, to the creatives our there, what inspires you to write/paint/sculpt/etc? Is it music, is it sunlight (I'm particularly limited to what I write depending on how bright the setting is)? What do you find that helps you to stir the creative juices?
